This morning both Capt. Bottko and Capt. Dumas sent in their reports for the week. Capt. Bottko spent some time offshore and found some surprising fishing while Capt. Dumas reports on the inshore fishing out of St. Augustine. Both are looking forward to the first hints of spring time activity with calmer winds, warmer temp on both the water and air.

Today we have a quick update from Capt. John Bottko on his report of last Saturday. John reports that Tuesday and Wednesday of this week should offer some excellent fishing for those that can get out on the water and take advantage of warmer temps and less wind. Some good info here!
Well with this weather it’s been a tough week for the fly fishermen here in Northeast Florida. We received this report from Captain John Bottko this morning and since he recorded it on Tuesday, today it’s now a few days old. His report though is a good one and has some tips on how to best make use of these conditions when they occur in the future. Capt. John also talks a bit about the upcoming turkey season here in Florida and as you can tell from his voice, he’s pumped!
Both Capt. John Bottko and Capt James Dumas have sent in their Blackfly Outfitter Weekly Fishing Report and Forecast for the Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas. Both have had excellent fishing the past few days and are looking forward to the good fishing continuing into next week. Listen in for some great information from two of the best guides in the area.
